Bernhard Grobmeyer

Bernhard Heinrich Grobmeyer (born January 17, 1840 in Emstek , † January 19, 1922 in Vechta ) was a German Roman Catholic priest. From 1890 until his death he served as Bishop Münsterscher Official in Vechta.

Bernhard Grobmeyer was ordained a priest in 1867 after graduating from high school in Vechta in 1861 and studying theology in Münster. After a position as a cooperator in Oythe (until 1869), a vicariate in his hometown (until 1872) and a time as a chaplain in Vechta (until 1879), his career then took him to a pastor's position in Cloppenburg , which he held until 1890. He then became official in Vechta and honorary cathedral chapter in Münster.
