Bernhard Hagemann

Bernhard Hagemann (born January 11, 1956 in Bad Reichenhall ) is a German photographer and writer.

Bernhard Hagemann grew up in Chiemgau and started taking photos when he was twelve. After brief assistance in Munich , he began to make photography his profession in 1980 . On the side he wrote numerous short stories and published his first children's novel Paul, Three Quarter Summer with Dog in 1992 . Since then, numerous books for children and young people have been created for various publishers as well as short stories for anthologies. He lives in Uffing (Garmisch-Partenkirchen district).

His two bizarre picture books for adults, Heinrichs Welt with Friedrich Wollweber (Mitteldeutscher Verlag, 2007) and Gerda with Petra Zieser (Mitteldeutscher Verlag, 2009), which were nominated for the German Photo Book Prize, received a lot of attention .
