The Mixt Vision Publishing is a children's and youth book publishing company based in Munich . It is part of Mixtvision Mediengesellschaft mbH. In addition to the publishing house, this includes the digital and film & TV business areas.

history

Mixtvision Verlag was founded in 2006 by Sebastian Zembol.

In 2009 the publishing house was awarded the prize for a small Bavarian publisher by the Bavarian State Ministry for Science, Research and Art . In 2019 he received the German Publishing Prize .

program

The publisher's program is aimed at children and young people aged 3 and over. It includes picture, children's, youth, gift and activity books. Starting in spring 2018, the program was supplemented by a stationery line called the "Magic Words Collection". The publisher's goal is to publish books that are both entertaining and sophisticated. The current publishing program includes 105 available titles (as of spring 2018), 68 of which are also available as e-books. "The big word factory" by Agnès de Lestrade and "In the garden of dandelions" by Noelia Blanco are also available as apps. One of the best-known titles is KeinBuch , nominated as Trend Brand of the Year at the 2009 Kulturmarken Award 2009. In 2011, with the appearance of the Abaton trilogy, the publishing program, which until then had focused on picture books, was expanded to include a youth book division. With the lecture series “Kosmo & Klax”, a branded world was set up in 2016 with books, audio books to join in and sing along, postcards and much more.
