Bernhard II (Werle)

Bernhard II., Lord of Werle [-Güstrow] (* around 1320; † between January 16 and April 13, 1382 ) was Lord of Werle-Güstrow from 1339 to 1347, Lord of Werle-Waren from 1347 to 1382 and from 1374 also Mr. zu Werle-Goldberg.

He was the youngest son of Johann II von Werle [-Güstrow] and Mechthild.

After his father's death in 1337, it was only his brother Nicholas III who ruled . alone and from 1339 to 1347 together with Bernhard. On July 14, 1347, they split the rule and Bernhard takes over the Werle-Waren part. After the death of Johann IV von Werle [-Goldberg] in 1374, he also took over the reign. On January 16, 1382 he was mentioned for the last time as living.

He was married to Elisabeth († between 1391 and 1410), the daughter of Johann des Mild von Holstein-Plön , since 1341 .
