Bernhard Katzy

Bernhard Robert Katzy (born April 9, 1962 in Aachen ; † November 12, 2015 ) was a German business graduate, engineer and university professor . He was a professor at the “School of Management” at the University of Leiden and the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich as well as the founder and managing director of the Center for Technology and Innovation Management.

Life

Bernhard Katzy received his doctorate in engineering from RWTH Aachen University and qualified as a professor at the University of St. Gallen. From 1990 to 1994 he worked in research at RWTH Aachen University and from 1995 took on a teaching position at the Institute for Technology and Management at the University of St. Gallen.

Katzy has a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from RWTH Aachen University and a Ph.D. (Habilitation) in Technology Management from the University of St. Gallen .
