Bernhard Kirchgässner

Bernhard Kirchgässner (born June 28, 1923 in Karlsruhe ; † 2007 ) was a German historian and economist .

Kirchgässner received his doctorate in economics from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg im Breisgau in 1952 . From 1973 to 1991 he held a professorship for economic and social history at the University of Mannheim .
