Bernhard Oberholzer (born September 8, 1985 in Hefenhofen ) is a former Swiss track and road cyclist .

Athletic career

Bernhard Oberholzer began his career in 2006 with the Swiss Continental Team Hadimec .

In the 2008 season he was in Zurich Swiss wheel champion in the team pursuit with Alexander Aeschbach , Franco Marvulli and Dominique Stark . The next year he was able to defend this title. He also won a stage at the Grand Prix Oberes Fricktal in 2009. From 2010 Oberholzer rode for the Price your Bike team . In his first year there he won the 2 Jours de Genève together with Lionel Wüst . The following year he was successful at the Ägerisee Grand Prix and won the amateur category at the Aargau Grand Prix .

At the Summer Universiade 2011 in Shenzhen , Oberholzer won the gold medal in the road race and silver in the points run on the track. In the same year he won the championship in Zurich .

In 2012 he ended his cycling career.
