Bernhard Rinner (* 1970 in Graz ) is an Austrian cultural manager.

He studied law at the Karl-Franzens University and at the Université de Gergovia in Clermont-Ferrand (France), graduating in 1996 with a master's degree.

From 1997 to 2003 he worked as political secretary for LH deputy Hermann Schützenhöfer , from 2004 to January 2007 Bernhard Rinner was managing director of INSTYRIA Kultur Service GmbH, which was founded by the responsible cultural officer LH Waltraud Klasnic . From 2007 to 2013 he was regional manager of the Styrian People's Party , from 2010 to 2013 he was also a member of the Styrian Landtag .

Bernhard Rinner has been the managing director of Theaterholding Graz | since January 1st, 2014 Steiermark GmbH and responsible for the group management of Bühnen Graz ( Opernhaus Graz GmbH, Schauspielhaus Graz GmbH, Next Liberty Jugendtheater GmbH, Grazer Spielstätten GmbH, Theaterservice Graz GmbH). In addition to initiating KLANGLICHT, Austria's largest festival for light art, Rinner implemented several measures in this role to digitize theater and art and culture.

After a gradual increase in the number of visitors, Bühnen Graz recorded over 0.5 million visitors for the first time in the 2016/17 season. The more intensive use of the Schloßbergbühne Kasematten also ensured a record number of visitors in 2017.
