Bernhard Tiele

Bernhard Tiele (born June 19, 1769 in Bremen ; † April 18, 1834 there ) was a businessman and Senator from Bremen .

biography

Tiele was the son of the businessman Burchard Tiele (1729–1771) and his Anna Gertrud (1738–1794). He was married to Anna Friederike Tiling (1748–1809); both had seven children. They lived in Wachtstrasse 11.
He completed his school days in Bremen and trained as a linen dealer.

From 1819 to 1834 (†) he was the successor of Engelbert Wichelhausen (†) Bremen Senator. At that time only a few senators were merchants, most of them lawyers . As a senator, he was also head of school maintenance in Bremer Neustadt.
