Bernhard Much

Bernhard Viel (* 1958 in Munich ) is a German literary scholar . He is the author of several biographies about writers and eccentrics of German intellectual life in the 19th and 20th centuries.

Life

Much studied German and history. In 2001 Albert von Schirnding nominated him for the "Berlin Prize for Literary Criticism". In 2007 he received his doctorate at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich under Georg Jäger with a thesis on nationalism in the novel of the early days . Lives a lot in Berlin and Munich. Most of his biographies have received positive reviews.
