Bernhard Wenisch

Bernhard Wenisch (born August 28, 1942 in Vienna ) is an Austrian theologian.

Wenisch received his doctorate in 1969 from the University of Salzburg with the thesis Der Wert. One to D. v. Hildebrand- oriented discussion with M. Scheler for Dr. phil. He wrote his diploma thesis in Catholic theology in 1972 at the University of Salzburg on the Christology of Karl Rahner in its relationship to the official teaching of the Church . In 1975 he received his doctorate from the University of Salzburg with the study "Received by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary". A contribution to the discussion about the spiritually effected conception of Christ to Dr. theol. The dissertation was not published. In 1981 he completed his habilitation at the University of Salzburg with the work Stories or History? Theology of Miracles in Catholic Dogmatics. He was employed by the Salzburg University Library. His book on Satanism (1988) was translated into Spanish in 1997. Wenisch is a member of the Salzburg working group for psychoanalysis.
