Bernhard Wenzeslaus von Pransnitz , CanA (also Bernhard Wenzel von Pransnitz ; Bernhard von Symbalon ; † 1456 at the latest ) was titular bishop of Symbalon ( Symbaliensis ) and auxiliary bishop in Breslau .

Life

Bernhard Wenzeslaus Pransnitz was the Augustinian canon of St. Maria auf dem Sande in Breslau . On May 15, 1447 he was appointed titular bishop of Symbalon ( Symbaliensis ) and auxiliary bishop in Breslau. In the same year he was together with the auxiliary bishop Johannes Erler co-consecrator at the consecration of the Wroclaw bishop Peter II. Nowag . Since Breslau at that time still belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Gniezno , after the consecration he swore the oath of allegiance to the Gnesen Metropolitan . In May 1450 he consecrated the church of Oltashin near Breslau. He died before March 1, 1456. His burial place is not known.
