Bernhard Zerr (born June 12, 1965 ) is a former German football referee .

Initially a youth player at FV Ottersweier, Bernhard Zerr began whistling as a referee at the age of 16.

Zerr was a second division referee from 1992 and referee of the Bundesliga from 1993 . Previously, he had whistled for two years in the association league and then three years in the league. He was a referee in the professional field until 2001, he had to end his career due to an injury to the Achilles tendon .

He directed 80 games in the top German division. He sent 28 players off the field and whistled penalties 11 times. In the 2nd division he was used 33 times as a referee. Here he imposed 11 dismissals and gave four penalties.

As of 2016, he is district arbitrator chairman in the Baden-Baden district, which belongs to the South Baden Football Association .
