history
Johannes Capistranus came to Krakow in 1453 at the invitation of King Casimir IV. Andrew , where he introduced the Order of the Saint Bernard . Cardinal Zbigniew Oleśnicki donated the first Gothic St. Bernard Church, which was completed under Jan Długosz . The founder was the knight and Sandomir Kastelan Hińcza from Rogów . The church was redesigned in Baroque style between 1645 and 1647, but it was completely destroyed during the Swedish Flood . The new baroque building was carried out between 1659 and 1680 by Krzysztof Mieroszewski .
