Berstequell was a short-lived municipality that existed from 1997 to 2001 in what was then the Heideblick office (today the Heideblick municipality , Dahme-Spreewald district , Brandenburg ). It was created in 1997 through the merger of the previously independent communities of Bornsdorf and Weißack .

Community structure

The municipality of Berstequell was divided into the districts of Bornsdorf , Grünswalde , Papiermühle , Pechhütte , Trebbinchen and Weißack . Furthermore, the living spaces Drauschemühle, Kleine Mühle and Obermühle belonged to the community.

history

In the course of the formation of offices in the state of Brandenburg in 1992, the Bornsdorf municipality formed the Heideblick office together with nine other municipalities . The municipality of Weißack was assigned to this office by determination of the Brandenburg Ministry of the Interior. On December 31, 1997, the Bornsdorf and Weißack communities merged to form the new Berstequell community. At the time the municipality was formed, Berstequell had 540 inhabitants. On December 31, 2001 the communities of Beesdau , Berstequell, Falkenberg , Goßmar , Heideblick and Pitschen-Pickel merged to form the new community of Heideblick . On that day Berstequell had 586 inhabitants. Mayoress for the short time of existence was Christa Wilks. In November 2003 she became mayor of the Bornsdorf district.
