Bert Lochs

Bert Lochs (* 1966 ) is a Dutch jazz musician ( trumpet , composition ) of modern jazz .

Live and act

Lochs worked in the Dutch jazz scene a. a. with Dirk Balthaus ( The Healing , 1995), Jasper Somsen , Philipp Rüttgers ( Phil's Music Laboratory ) and Jurko van Veenendaal . In 2007 he and his trio released the album Mouth Pieces (Music Under Construction). Furthermore he belonged to the trio Lochs / Balthus / Herskedal . With his band Braskiri ( Wim Kegel , Dirk Balthaus and Steffen Granly ) he recorded the album The Couch Principle (2019) with his own compositions. In the field of jazz, he was involved in six recording sessions between 1995 and 2012, according to Tom Lord . Lochs presented the textbook Close Harmony with jazz arrangements for four trumpets or flugelhorns.
