Bert Schlatterer

Bert Schlatterer (born January 25, 1940 in Calw ; † January 4, 2013 ) was a German veterinarian and environmental toxicologist .

Life

Bert Schlatterer studied veterinary medicine and biochemistry and in 1965 at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich Dr. med. vet. PhD . From 1969 he worked at the University of Hohenheim , where he also obtained a doctorate in biochemistry in 1974. rer. nat. received his doctorate.

Schlatterer held managerial positions at the Federal Health Office and the Federal Environment Agency . At the Justus Liebig University in Giessen , he taught as an honorary professor for environmental toxicology.

Schlatterer last lived with his wife Dorothee in Kleinmachnow . He found his final resting place at his birthplace Calw.
