Bertha-Neumann-Park is an approx. 800 m 2 large Beserlpark in Liesing. It is located between Rudolf-Waisenhorn-Gasse and Breitenfurter Straße at the level of the Linke Wasserzeile. It has seating from which you can enjoy the view of the Liesing aqueduct , part of the 1st Viennese spring water pipeline .

Bertha-Neumann-Park was named after Dr. Bertha Neumann , née Kunreuther (1893–1944), named. She was one of the first Austrians to obtain a doctorate in political science . Bertha Neumann was married to the Liesingen community doctor Dr. Karl Neumann . Both were murdered together with their son by the National Socialists in the Auschwitz concentration camp in 1944 . At the initiative of the Greens , the Liesingen parliamentary groups of the Greens, the Social Democratic Party , the Austrian People's Party and the PRO 23 parliamentary group applied across all parliamentary groups on 29 June 2017 to name the area in Bertha-Neumann-Park described above. On November 6, 2017, the corresponding applications were accepted in the City Council's Committee for Culture, Science and Sport.
