Berthold Block (font)
The Block font was designed by the German type designer Herrmann Hoffmann around 1908 and sold by the H. Berthold AG type foundry . The font is considered a classic of German typography. Erik Spiekermann revised the font in the 1970s and created further variations. The block is a sans serif grotesque .
