Enrique Carretero
Enrique Carretero García (born April 11, 1926 in Córdoba , Argentina ; † August 24, 2010 in Tampico , Mexico ) was an Argentine football player who mainly played in midfield and worked as a sports chronicler after his active career.
career
Carretero began his professional career at CA San Lorenzo de Almagro and moved to the Mexican CD Tampico at the age of 21, where he was under contract for twelve years and with which he won the Mexican football championship in the 1952/53 season.
Carretero stayed in Tampico after the end of his sporting career, where he died of a heart attack at the age of 76 .
