Bertold Sprenger
Bertold Sprenger (born November 2, 1939 in Berlin ) is a German politician ( CDU ).
Sprenger attended elementary school, technical school and vocational school, then did a two-year apprenticeship as a carpenter and graduated as a carpenter apprentice. He then joined the German Navy and trained in coastal handling with amphibious equipment for supplies across the free coast. He then worked in human resources in the Navy and in the Schleswig-Holstein Territorial Command, and as a professional soldier.
Sprenger was a city councilor for the CDU in Heiligenhafen , a member of the Ostholstein district council , the CDA state board of Schleswig-Holstein and the German Federal Armed Forces Association . From 1983 to 1996 he was a member of the Landtag of Schleswig-Holstein .
