Bertrand Heidelberg (* 15. February 1845 , † after 1925) was a German plant and herbalists .

Life

He put together the bitter herb mixture known under the name “Heidelberger 7 Herbs” . This mixture contains different herbs depending on the source, but all components contain bitter substances , which are considered to be beneficial for digestion. Most are in the herb mixture after Heidelberger burnet , caraway , fennel , anise , juniper , yarrow and wormwood included.
