The BG building is halfway between the Crona Clinic and the Morgenstelle on the Schnarrenberg in the immediate vicinity of the clinics of the University Clinic in Tübingen .
history
The foundation stone for the clinic was laid in 1955, after which the clinic opened two years later.
The clinic has 340 beds in 15 wards and employs 950 people. Together with the University Hospital Tübingen , the BG Clinic is certified as a supra-regional trauma center of the trauma network Südwürttemberg. In 2019, the clinic took twelfth place in the FAZ Institute's hospital ranking in the category “300 to less than 500 beds”.
