The BG Kliniken are the medical care facilities of the statutory accident insurance in Germany .
The group of companies consists of nine acute clinics, two clinics for occupational diseases and two outpatient clinics throughout Germany. The BG clinics specialize in the treatment and recovery of seriously injured accident victims and people with occupational diseases. They therefore have particular expertise in all specialist areas of surgery and rehabilitation . The BG Kliniken work for the public benefit and, like all statutory accident insurance institutions, are jointly administered by insured employees and employers ( self-administration ). They are run by the trade associations and nine accident insurance funds.
Since January 1, 2016, the BG Kliniken have been merged into a group with holding structures.
The parent company of BG Kliniken is “BG Kliniken - Clinic Association of Statutory Accident Insurance GmbH”, based in Berlin.
