The Beta Glacier is a glacier on the Ulu Peninsula in the northwest of the West Antarctic James Ross Island . It flows southeast into the Torrent Valley west of the Dinn Cliffs at Shrove Cove .
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 2015 based on the name of the northeastern neighboring Alpha Glacier .
