The company health insurance company Braun-Gillette was a statutory health insurance provider in Germany from the group of company health insurance funds . On January 1, 2017, BKK Braun-Gillette merged with Pronova BKK and operates under their name.
The health insurance was open nationwide. The main administration was based in Kronberg im Taunus , there were offices in Marktheidenfeld , Walldürn , Wiesbaden and Berlin, among others .
The cash register had its origins at the shaver manufacturers Braun and Gillette as well as at DBV-Winterthur .
Contribution rates
Since January 1, 2009 the contribution rates have been uniformly stipulated by the legislature. From January 1, 2016, the BKK levied an income-related additional contribution of 1.4 percent of the contributory income, which was increased to 1.9 percent on May 1, 2016.
