The company health insurance fund of BMW AG (BMW BKK) is a German corporation under public law and a company-related company health insurance fund based in Dingolfing. Only employees of the BMW Group and their relatives can take out insurance.

BMW BKK has over 160 employees and, together with relatives who are also insured free of charge, looks after over 192,000 people (as of December 2019). BMW BKK was founded on July 1, 1990. Central tasks are controlled by Dingolfing and Munich. In addition, there are regional offices at the six German plants in Munich, Landshut, Regensburg, Dingolfing, Berlin and Leipzig, where the insured can get advice and support on site.
The self-administration of the BMW BKK consists of the Board of Directors and the Appeals Committee. Alternating chairmen of the board of directors are Manfred Schoch and Rudolf Reichenauer.
Contribution rates
Since January 1, 2009 the contribution rates have been standardized by the legislator. Until December 31, 2014, the BMW BKK did not levy any additional contribution that was independent of the health insurance fund . Since January 1, 2015, it has been charging an additional contribution for each health insurance company . Since January 2020, this has been 0.8 percent.
Services
In addition to the statutory basic services, the BMW BKK offers its insured additional offers in the area of prevention and early detection, such as B. occupational health promotion , preventive checkups, prevention programs, a bonus program and osteopathy.
