Bettina Meiselbach , née Schott (born April 26, 1969 in Erbach im Odenwald ) is a German author of cookery and non-fiction books and blogger for the nutrition blog Happy Carb .

Professional career

After completing a commercial apprenticeship and a higher degree in business administration and business psychology, she worked for more than 25 years in various companies in the field of personnel management, most recently as a personnel and training manager. After a burnout and a diagnosis of type 2 diabetes, Bettina Meiselbach started the Happy Carb blog in 2014 , where she published editorial articles on the topics of low-carb diet , ketogenic diet , weight loss , diabetes and a collection of cooking recipes to go with it .

Bettina Meiselbach has been working primarily as an author since September 2016 and has so far published a number of cookery and non-fiction books for various publishers. In addition to books and her own blog, she also writes for various Internet platforms such as the Friends of Experts and the Blood Sugar Lounge (Kirchheim Verlag).
