The residential building at Bettrather Strasse 61 is located in Mönchengladbach ( North Rhine-Westphalia ).

The building was built in 1902/03. It was entered under No. B 145 on March 28, 1995 in the monuments list of the city of Mönchengladbach .

The two-storey four-axis house with a loft is located in the immediate vicinity of the colorful garden . The entire facade surface is plastered smoothly; Only the basement plinth is more coarsely structured. Window disposition in a weakly rhythmic order with uniformly high rectangular window formats . All windows are accented with flat stucco ornamentation . On the ground floor - including the entrance to the house on the right - gabled ear framing; on the upper floor with a curtain arch.

The two middle windows are combined by a vegetal ornamentation band and a continuous sill . In the middle, another decorative motif in the form of a coat of arms with a banner on top . Gothic style elements ( frieze bordered by pinnacles ) emphasizing the two outer axes. The surface of the gable roof is broken through by an oversized, three-part dormer .
