Patrick Lee "Pat" Ahern (born November 10, 1960 in Davenport , Iowa ) is a former American Nordic combined athlete .
Ahern was American champion four times in his playing career: 1982, 1984, 1985 and 1987. In 1983 he was runner- up after a broken collarbone . He also took part in the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo . In the individual competition he reached 17th place.
Ahern attended Summit County High School in Colorado and studied at the University of Alaska at Anchorage .
