The Beuditzbrunnen is located in front of the Marienapotheke at the intersection of the streets Beuditzstraße and Rudolf-Götze-Straße in Weißenfels. The Weißenfelser Verschönerungsverein gave 1902 a fountain at Paul Juckoff from Schkopau in order. In 1903 the fountain was completed and unveiled. When it was inaugurated, the fountain was surrounded by a fence, which was dismantled over time because of the risk of injury. The fountain stands on a two-tiered base . A casting process with concrete and sandstone powder was used to manufacture the fountain . The complicated pump and pipeline system makes the well very maintenance-intensive. As with the town boy , Ernst Hoffmann was the model for the bronze sculpture.
