Bev Francis
Bev Francis (actually Beverley Francis; born February 15, 1955 in Geelong ) is a former Australian shot putter .
In 1978 she was fifth at the Commonwealth Games in Edmonton , in 1979 seventh at the World Athletics Cup in Montreal and in 1982 fourth at the Commonwealth Games in Brisbane .
In 1982 she became the Australian champion. Her personal best of 17.64 m she set on December 6, 1980 in Melbourne .
From 1980 to 1985, she won six consecutive World Cup International Powerlifting Federation in powerlifting . After that, she professionally ran women's bodybuilding .
