Reinforcement plan

A reinforcement plan is a work plan in construction that shows the reinforcement of a reinforced concrete component. Reinforcement plans are purely execution plans according to which the reinforcing steel is cut to length and bent (steel extract) in the bending shop and then laid by the reinforced concrete constructor or the braider on the construction site .

The reinforcement plans are created on the basis of a structural analysis previously created by a civil engineer . The engineer is responsible for the correctness of the static calculations and the reinforcement plans based on them.

Reinforcement plans are drawn by draftsmen or construction technicians. A further basis for reinforcement plans are usually the associated formwork plans , which show the shape of the reinforced concrete component. For the most part, reinforcement plans are now created on the computer with the aid of CAD programs. Reinforcement plans are rarely drawn by hand.

In Germany, apart from smaller structures, there is also the four-eye principle in the form of an examination of the reinforcement plans, as well as the static calculation, either by an expert or a test engineer for structural engineering .
