Holden Matthews wakes up from a coma after 12 years to discover that he now possesses supernatural abilities that propel him into the midst of a dangerous conspiracy. Holden wants to find out what has happened to him in the past twelve years and how he can live in a world that has changed in the meantime.

As Holden tries to get used to the adulthood he is now, a mysterious woman named Willa warns him not to trust the people around him.
