The Bezmer Point (English; Bulgarian нос Безмер nos Besmer ) is a headland on the northwest coast of the Varna Peninsula on Livingston Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is located 8.8 km east-northeast of Melta Point and 2.6 km southwest of Kotis Point .
The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in 2005 after the town of Besmer in southeastern Bulgaria in connection with the Bulgarian Khan Besmer , who ruled from 665 to 668.
