Bhoja Air was a private Pakistani airline based in Karachi and based at Jinnah International Airport .

history

On November 7, 1993, Bhoja Air began operating domestic routes between Karachi , Lahore and Quetta with a leased Boeing 737-200 . The machine was registered in Pakistan; this made Bhoja the first private airline in Pakistan to operate an aircraft made in the west. Due to financial difficulties, the airline ceased operations in 2000, but was revived in 2011 and again operated its first flight on March 6, 2012.

After the accident of a Boeing 737 on Bhoja Air flight 213 on April 20, 2012, the Pakistani aviation authority withdrew the company's operating license for safety reasons. Flight operations have not been resumed since then, and the website has not been updated.
