Bianca Meyerink (born September 18, 1992 in Nordhorn ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Bianca Meyerink began playing volleyball at SCU Emlichheim when she was six . In the 2008/09 season she was part of the club's second division squad for the first time . The middle blocker took part in the U-18 World Cup in Thailand with the German national youth team in 2009 and made five appearances there. In the following season, the then 17-year-old was active for the last time for the club from the Emlichheim community. In the 2010/11 season Meyerink played for the base team VC Olympia Berlin . The middle blocker was in the starting line-up in the 3-0 defeat against SC Potsdam at the start of the season. The first victory in the German volleyball upper house, on the other hand, was only achieved in the last match of the season with 3: 1 against the SWE volley team . Meyerink played a decisive role in this with a series of serve in the second set. In the 2011/12 season she played for Köpenicker SC . In 2012 Meyerink returned to SCU Emlichheim, where she played in the second Bundesliga until 2014.

Private

Bianca Meyerink visits the School and Competitive Sports Center Berlin (former Coubertin high school). She is the daughter of Christina and construction engineer Jan-Heinz Meyerink, who also works as a manager at SCU Emlichheim. The brother of the high school graduate is called Michael and is a soccer goalkeeper. Bianca Meyerink and Jennifer Geerties were the first two athletes to be entered in the Golden Book of the Emlichheim community.
