The Bibby Point is a steep rock cape with snow inland directed edges, which is the entrance to Brandy Bay on the West Antarctic James Ross Island bounded to the northeast.
The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named it in 1964 after John Selwyn Bibby (* 1935), geologist of the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey in Hope Bay between 1958 and 1959.
