Bibliotheca Hagiographica Graeca

The Bibliotheca Hagiographica Graeca is a catalog of Greek hagiographic writings, such as literary works on the lives of saints , the translation of their relics, and their miracles , arranged in alphabetical order of the saints. The work is usually abbreviated as BHG . The lists include manuscripts , incipits and printed works.

The work is edited and edited by the Bollandists , since the third edition under the direction of François Halkin . The Bibliotheca Hagiographica Graeca , together with the Bibliotheca Hagiographica Latina and the Bibliotheca Hagiographica Orientalis, is one of the most important tools for scientific work on Byzantine saints.
