Library of theological classics
The library of theological classics is a book series consisting of writings that were named by Protestant theologians in the 1880s as groundbreaking for their office and life.
The library of theological classics was published by Friedrich Andreas Perthes in 1888–1894 and comprises a total of 54 volumes.
The motto of the book series, as an inscription on the book cover, is "First weigh, then dare".
