Bienaventurados (German: Gesegnete ) is the fifth studio album by the Puerto Rican reggaeton and R&B singer Bengie . It was released on July 9, 2009 on the People Music label. The album is mainly to be assigned to the reggaeton genre, but there is also a salsa song and some songs that are held in the style of hip hop on the album . In bienaventurados, the texts deal with life as a bienaventurado .
Planning and creation
Two months after his last album was released, Bengie sat down with his explorer and friend Manny Montes to plan a new album. Bengie took his testimony as inspiration for his album and came up with the name Bienaventurados . Then 30 beats were selected by producers of the label A Fueguember Music for the 17-song album. Bengie wrote the lyrics for his long player with the help of Manny Montes, Luis Marrero and King Hamburg. The recordings took place in the Bengiestudios, the part of Manny Montes in the Estudio A Fueguember. The finished songs are then mixed by Cingrai & King Hamburg in the Bendicion Studio Hamburg.

Music and lyrics
Most of the songs on the album are in the classic reggaeton style with the typical rhythm, the so-called "Dembow". In contrast, track No. 3 (Keep Moving Forward) is more reminiscent of old-school hip-hop, similar to the intro (Vivo Agradeciendote). The song Zapatitos Rotos is more of a mix of salsa and bachata. There is also a children's song on the LP, Arca De Noe , which Bengie recorded with two of his children. Despite other songs without the reggaeton-typical dembo rhythm, this album is more than “Puro Reggaeton”. The lyrics deal with topics such as immigration of Mexicans in the USA, personal problems and depression. His love for God and Jesus Christ got a lot of attention on this album .
