BigWorld Pty Ltd is an Australian company founded in 2002 that develops and sells operating and development software for computer games . The focus is on mass online community games (MMO) and the creation of virtual worlds . The game provider Wargaming.net took over BigWorld in August 2012 for USD 45 million, but continues to run it as an independent company. The seat is in Sydney .

Software engineering

BigWorlds software provides architectures for the development and operation of MMO and online games according to the client-server model .
