The Big Brother Bluff is a 2840 m high, angular granite cliff that rises on the western edge of the Daniels Range about 10 km north of Mount Burnham in the Usarp Mountains .
The northern group of 1963 carried out until 1964 campaign as part of the New Zealand Geological Survey Antarctic Expedition named the cliff in reminiscence of the omnipresent "Big Brother" ( English Big Brother ) from George Orwell's dystopischem novel in 1984 , because there is still a distance of 80 km north and numerous sections of the Rennick Glacier can be seen.
