bike und business is a German trade journal of the Vogel Communications Group for trade and service in the motorcycle industry .
The magazine, which appears six times a year, is aimed at the motorized two-wheeler industry in Germany , Austria and Switzerland , South Tyrol , Belgium , Luxembourg and the Netherlands . The magazine from the Vogel Communications Group, a specialist media company with headquarters in Würzburg , covers the German-speaking economic area throughout Central Europe and serves the sub-markets of motorcycles, scooters , quad / ATV , trikes , electric scooters , electric motorcycles and pedelecs . bike und business has been the official organ of the Federal Guild Association for the German Bicycle Mechanic Trade (BIV) since 2003.
The magazine focuses on motorcycle trade and service, workshops , branded and independent dealers as well as dealers in accessories, technology, clothing and helmets, manufacturers, importers, associations and the further training of service technicians and mechatronics.
In addition to the print editions, news is distributed via newsletters , social networks and a website. Bike and business also gained notoriety through specially organized motorcycle tours. The German trade press honored “bike und business” in 2014 at the “Specialist Medium of the Year” award in the “Best Social Media Use” category and in 2016 in the “Best Award” category.
Furthermore, the bike and business conference takes place once a year in Würzburg. At this event, the awards "Motorcycle Dealer of the Year" and "Bike Woman of the Year", as well as the "Best Brands" of the industry from the dealer's point of view, are presented.
