On the other hand, there are a number of new fonts that were designed exclusively for use on displays (for example, system fonts that can be easily represented and read in small font sizes). In addition, there are new fonts designed for parallel use in display and print media ( Georgia , Verdana ).

Database-supported Internet solutions and the use of content management systems increasingly require the use of real screen fonts. The further development of classic typefaces for display on the screen at the system level is not very far advanced - also because the character of the typeface is very difficult to maintain, especially in small font sizes, and for many typefaces it does not make sense to redesign them for use on the monitor.
