Overall educational plan

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Education Plan of 15 June 1973 by the Federal-State Commission for Educational Planning and Research Promotion presented (BLK) and included a master plan for the educational development in the Federal Republic of Germany . It can be seen as a further development of the structural plan for the education system of the German Education Council from 1970.

The plan describes objectives for all schools , in-company vocational training , teacher training , universities , continuing education and training, as well as extracurricular youth work . Another part is devoted to the estimated costs. The commission that drafted it had existed since 1970 and was intended to bundle the reform expectations into a long-term concept after the start of the social-liberal coalition in 1969. Representatives of the CDU / CSU were also involved via the federal states . A comprehensive survey of experts and associations preceded the adoption.

The overall education plan was not implemented because the financial basis collapsed as early as 1973 as a result of the global economic crisis. In addition, the preliminary consensus found among the party camps on the orientation level , comprehensive school , teacher training and university building quickly fell apart.

A second overall education plan was presented in 1982 but was no longer adopted.
