Bilharz is an impact crater on the Earth's moon . It is located in the eastern part of the Mare Fecunditatis , northwest of the striking Langrenus crater . It is the largest crater of a group of three that it forms with Atwood in the east and Naonobu in the northeast. All three were previously considered to be Langrenus satellite craters .
The interior of Bilharz was flooded by basaltic lava , which left a level crater floor with almost no noticeable markings with the exception of a few microcraters. There is no central survey. The rim of the crater is circular and shows only slight traces of erosion.
The crater was referred to as Langrenus F before it was given its current name by the IAU in 1976 .
