The Bilker Allee is a street in the Düsseldorf districts Unterbilk and Friedrichstadt .

Location and history

Bilker Allee is one of the most important west-east connections in Unterbilk. It leads from Martinstraße in an extension of Gladbacher Straße in an easterly direction. It crosses the central streets Elisabethstrasse and Friedrichstrasse and ends at Corneliusstrasse, where it turns into Oberbilker Allee .

The street has a closed, multi-storey perimeter block development, some of which dates from the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century. In the middle area between Palmenstrasse and Kronenstrasse, the street shape is loosened up by the flora garden.
