Bill Nankeville

Bill Nankeville (actually George William Nankeville; born March 24, 1925 in Guildford ) is a former British middle -distance runner who specialized in the 1,500-meter distance .

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 he was sixth, and at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 he won bronze. In 1952 he reached the semifinals at the Olympic Games in Helsinki .

He was four times English champion in the mile run (1948–1950, 1952).
