Bill Jackson Tchato (born May 14, 1975 in M'biam ) is a former Cameroonian football player .

Tchato is the son of a Cameroonian diplomatic family. He spent part of his childhood in Paris and London .

Tchato is Cameroon's national player and has been used 46 times. On September 5, 2004, he scored his only goal for the national team against Egypt .

On January 1, 2003, Tchato moved from HSC Montpellier to 1. FC Kaiserslautern . For the Palatinate, he played 56 games in the Bundesliga in the following three seasons and scored one goal. In 2005 Tchato played again in France, this time for OGC Nice , before moving to Qatar SC in 2006 .

Tchato's greatest achievement was winning the Africa Championship with Cameroon in 2002.
